Local Gem: Angelique Café

A surprising find on a concrete island in the Fashion District of Downtown Los Angeles, Angelique Café is a charming restaurant that transports you to the city of lights (or if you’re like me and haven’t been yet, what you think Paris feels like).

The environment is cozy and comfortable. The patio is perfect for people watching, the upper level has great natural light, and the small balcony is great for intimate meals.

Favorite Dish: Dijon Burger with pommes frites. I know it doesn’t sound very French but the sautéed mushrooms are irresistible!!

How Sweet It Is: Christmas Cookies

The holidays are one of my favorite times to bake (mostly because it gives me the excuse to eat too many sweets)!
